Your ID has your ID number on it, but also your Faces picture and your birth date. And your name.

You can use it to check out books from the library or to access your dining dollars, flex dollars or meal swipes.

Food for thought

Like all magnetic-stripe based cards the data on the card can be read, or changed. It's unknown if the data on the card is encrypted. Magnetic stripe readers/writers are not terribly hard to get ahold of online.
