Democracy at Knox
The Knox College student body used to have a democratic body called Student Senate. However, the body passed a resolution this year requiring candidates for Student Senate President to have been a member of Senate for at least three terms (one year) before running. This effectively turned Senate into something that looks a whole lot like democracy, but is not quite there.
The student body is still waiting for Senate to reverse this decision.
