The Blue Yak Party was a themed party held in 284 West Thompkins #2. The party was held to celebrate the coming of the Blue Yak (a fiction character who arrives at midnight bringing gifts of granola bars). Traditionally the Blue Yak arrives on the final Saturday of September. Party guests were treated to a midnight appearance of the Blue Yak, who distributed his granola treats and generally scared people. The aftermath of the party featured a disturbing amount of blue granola vomit.
