First Presbyterian Church is located at 101 N. Prairie St., at the corner of Prairie and Ferris St. It is often a performance venue for the Galesburg Community Chorus as well as the Nova Singers. For a time, Knox's Great Bells of Fire was incorporated as a part of First Pres's own handbell choir, directed by Amber Clark, but the Knox group broke off into their own independent group during Spring Term of the '06-'07 school year, and subsequently kind of fizzled into nonexistence.
