Black Studies (major)[edit]
This major allows advanced study in Black Studies.
Courses Required for the Black Studies major[2][edit]
10 credits:
- All of the following:
- Five other courses in the department, at least two of which must be at the 300-level and two of which must be at the 200-level
- An internship or practicum may be substituted for an elective credit
Black Studies (minor)[edit]
This minor allows for intermediate study in Black Studies.
Courses Required for the Black Studies minor[3][edit]
5 credits:
- BKST 101 (Introduction to Black Studies)
- Four additional department credits, one of which may be Independent Study
- A project relating Black Studies to an outside discipline.
