Jeremy Day-O'Connell, sometimes known as JDOC, is an assistant professor of music, primarily music theory. He vaguely resembles a Spanish conquistador, minus the gun, horse, hat, and genocide. He enjoys percussion, especially the steel drums. He is usually seen biking around campus. He recently published his first full-length book, Pentatonicism From the Eighteenth Century to Debussy.
