Medical and Dental Care

Student access to local Medical and Dental Care is subsidized through Knox's Health Insurance program. Though Galesburg is home to 2 hospitals and a large number of small practices, students are left to fend for themselves when confronted with medical problems or when looking for a regular GP.

There is currently no on campus health service, with the exception of the SHAG, which can't actually help you if you break your neck, or need insulin.

Medical[edit]

OSF St. Mary Medical Center[edit]

Though further from campus, OSF has a very well appointed ER. If you cut your toe off in the middle of the night, you'll meet some very interesting people there.

Galesburg Cottage Hospital[edit]

This hospital is closer to campus, though the Emergency Room facilities tend to seem less well maintained than those at St. Mary's.

Small Practices[edit]
