Sarah Lammie, more commonly known as Slammie, graduated from Knox in 2005 with a major in elementary education and a minor in theatre directing. Barack Obama was her commencement speaker. She was an active member of Terpsichore, the costume shop and Delta Delta Delta. She lives in Chicago and is currently working as a kindergarten teacher on the city's south side.
