Winter Term 2007 was part of the 2006-2007 school year, running from January 2 to March 11, 2007.
This was a term full of floods, ice storms, and very cold weather. Like many winter terms at Knox, students are stressed out, too cold to go out, and sick with the flu.

- March 21 – Knox announces that it will give Douglas Wilson of the Lincoln Studies Center an honorary degree

- January 5, Fri, 4 PM, Douglas Wilson of the Lincoln Studies Center gives a talk on his new book, Lincoln's Sword, in the Alumni Room
- January 11, Thu, 4 PM – Gregory Divers, a visiting assistant professor of German at St. Louis University, gives a talk on Carl Sandburg's influence on modern German poetry.
- January 15, Mon, 11 AM – Professor Konrad Hamilton delivers the keynote address at the Martin Luther King Day Convocation
- January 19, Fri, 4 PM – Poets Nancy Eimers and William Olsen give a poetry reading in the Alumni Room.
- January 22-25, Mon-Thu, 4 PM – Eric Edi, Bob Seibert, Pavel Oskinsky, and members of the Campus Diversity Committee give talks on international issues, as part of the International Fair.
- February 15, Thu, 5 PM – Knox celebrates Founders Day in the Muelder Reading Room

- February 17 – Julio Trujillo, along with students Bill Mayeroff and Tom Fucoloro, won third prize for Best In-Depth Reporting for TKS at the 2007 Illinois College Press Association convention in Chicago
