Putting this under the first day. If it's your first flunk day then here are some fun facts!

- Flunk day is never on a Friday because they don't want to give us a 3 day weekend. This is why every event in late spring term pre flunk day is always Friday.

- When looking at flunk day data, disregard 2020.

- If there is a big academic event that is already planned (ex: senior awards, capstone presentation events, etc.) flunk day will most likely not happen then. Faculty can submit days they don't want flunk day to be, and these big events are already taken into consideration when planning. Do note as well there can be big faculty meeting/events on some days that students are just simply not aware of that can affect what day flunk day could be.

- Flunk day is always tomorrow
I have confirmed the Flunk Day planning committee. Flunk Day coordinator is senior Maddie Tucker. Deputy coordinator is Charlie Tucker. Planners are seniors Kathryn Allee, John Brent, Tori Johnson, Sarah Wallenfelsz, and junior Myrissa Le. Keep a close eye on them.

Sarah Wallenfelsz is one of the planners??? This is gonna be a great flunk day!

heard kathryn and tori talking in the smc atrium today about food...i wonder if a plan is already underway?

Overheard that Maddie is in the Campus Life office this afternoon, is she finalizing details for a Monday (03/28) Flunk?

FOLLOW UP FOLLOW UP FOLLOW UP: I saw Maddie and Dean McLean leaving a meeting with Dr. Barker at approximately 4 PM. What if this year's Flunk IS super early?

Btw folks - friar scares will NOT be a thing this year! Confirmed both in talking with Maddie and Sarah making a statement in senate last term
since we're getting closer and closer it feels like a good time to remind everyone that the Flunk Day planning committee are just people with full plates and an entire schedule to worry about and aggravating them with questions like "when's Flunk Day?" and "why did you plan it for a rainy day??" every other day is super exhausting and not helpful at all. We cannot have a repeat of the tormenting they got last year, Maddie and everyone else on the team (sorry I don't remember everyone on there) deserve better so fckn give them that!
Baseball plays Augustana this day. But here's the catch it is on our schedule online without a time. It's not on Augustana's team schedule. The only game on their schedule is the one on the 3rd.

This is also the only sunny day this week
Don't quote me on this but this seems like a good day for flunk day idk. The vibes are good for a may 5th flunk methinks

they just sent out an email with a million things happening thursday for inaguration i feel like it is not today

please for the love of god let it not be on this day

hear me out they moved president inauguration to the orpheum so that it’s fine if drunk people trash campus or ruin the stage or something on thursday flunk

- 12:08 AM: I seriously doubt it's going to be today, but hey, maybe there will be another =incident=.

- 2:10 PM: yeah, hahaha called it. Although, the lawns are mowed and I have seen it raining a lot, so maybe the first flunk friday since 1957 or something will be tomorrow?

Apparently this is the week of FSL week so maybe not this week? Hopefully earlier
<-----does FSL week really matter that much? I don't think it'll be on Monday but I'm willing to bet that it's this week

I don't think we're going to have two Monday Flunks in a row

Holi Festival postponed this week until next weekend, week 7 flunk?

Statistically this is definitely it. Idk my tarot said so.

nothing of importance is scheduled this day, this is the one

could def be today... after inaguration but still time to recover before homecoming

God it better be a Monday Wednesday or Friday, I work at 8am those days I don't need a TT flunk making me show up to work hungover
<----it's not gonna be friday lol

I feel strongly about today

person on YikYak (camera icon) claiming to know for sure its today

no sports listed for this whole week

The person who did the Incident (see above) was told they have to meet with admin on Monday. Why would they schedule this meeting if that’s the real flunk?
<----OR they INTENTIONALLY scheduled the meeting for flunk day to mess with their plans

Not today flunk pls - this post was made by the MWF 2, 3, 4 gang

There's a fulbright information session on this day, which seems like they wouldn't put Flunk Day here. It's reschedulable, sure, but still seems important ENOUGH to be considered.
^ there was a Fulbright event before and an upcoming one close by.

Spanish translation class has interviews this day. Would suck if they had to miss Flunk for it.

There are also interviews for a new director of counseling so it doesn’t seem likely that it’s today…

May 11, 2022 (Wed)
This was the first Flunk (1922) so high possibility of it being this day

^^ second this

^^ i third this, this seems like something maddie would do

^^^ i love this idea -- but idk bc admin picks the day and we know they're not always thoughtful...

I'm so confident about this date, I'll etch it onto my gravestone right now.

they were looking at flunk day stuff in the archives in the winter i wouldn’t be surprised if it was on this day!

I've heard through the grapevine that this day is Flunk Day

^ can confirm! I asked Maddie about this day and she seemed very suspicious when she answered with "maybe ... maybe not"

they don't know lol they're fucking with you

^ i'm pretty sure they know the date

^Flunk Day Planner here. We know the date. Maddie has known the date for months.

Ask Charlie Tucker, he knows and is willing to share.

^ I asked Charlie if Flunk Day was May 11th and his little tail was extra wiggly. Flunk Day confirmed!

Blessings in a Backpack Debate
Blessings Blues & Brews is on this day. It is a huge event for Union Board and Blessings. I'm sure they wouldn't plan this event the same day as flunk day.

Blessings in a Backpack and UB don’t know the date though 👀 theoretically any event could be ok Flunk Day, admin only considers really big college wide events when they set the schedule

^^^this. baseball got shafted a couple years back, they were at an away game during Flunk

People can submit events to be considered though when they decide Flunk Day and Joel Estes said that they asked in advance since it's such a big event for them

The BiB event is more for upperclassmen and townies (21+) so its not going to change flunk day

I called this one in late Fall term :)

I refuse to see another year of Thursday truthers

I genuinely think this makes the most sense. This is the 100th and so I'm predicting that they'll want lots of alumni engagement and what better time to do it than the beginning of homecoming weekend????

absolutely 5/12. pls i wanna see the alumni visiting for homecoming drunk off their asses

no. this is our flunk day. get the alumni out of here.

No way it's entering the next week though

homecoming does need some set up time, and they can't exactly get started during flunk day

we have educational consultants coming this day. for sure no flunk

SUPER doubt it, they want to maintain a respectable image for homecoming and a campus of drunk students is risky...

if it's a Thursday flunk we need to keep stockpiling. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday party baby!!!!
since we're getting closer and closer it feels like a good time to remind everyone that the Flunk Day planning committee are just people with full plates and an entire schedule to worry about and aggravating them with questions like "when's Flunk Day?" and "why did you plan it for a rainy day??" every other day is super exhausting and not helpful at all. We cannot have a repeat of the tormenting they got last year, Maddie and everyone else on the team (sorry I don't remember everyone on there) deserve better so fckn give them that!

- When looking at flunk day data, disregard 2020.

- If there is a big academic event that is already planned (ex: senior awards, capstone presentation events, etc.) flunk day will most likely not happen then. Faculty can submit days they don't want flunk day to be, and these big events are already taken into consideration when planning. Do note as well there can be big faculty meeting/events on some days that students are just simply not aware of that can affect what day flunk day could be.

Student Senate serves two primary purposes. First, it is the student body's legislative body for student affairs, most notably the distribution of club budgetary money and disbursement of the Senate Discretionary Fund. Second, it is the students' primary advocate for student interests to the faculty, staff and administration, and to that end passes a lot of resolutions and conducts a lot of committee work making recommendations for reform.

Senate meets every Thursday at 7 p.m. in CFA 110.

Senators
Senators are elected early in Fall Term to serve for the school year. Each year the Executive Board draws election districts from which senators are elected.

See also List of current and former District Senators

Executive Committee
The Executive Committee, comprising the President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer (and since 2006 the four committee chairs), steers the activities of Senate and draws election districts. The Executive Committee meets once a week, but nobody knows when, and no minutes are published.

The four executive officers are the four members of the Student Life Committee (SLC), which distributes the Student Activity Fee Fund (approx. $300,000 for 2006-07).

The Student Life Committee voted to pay the four executive officers a stipend of approximately 10 hours per week ($7.50/hr) during the summer of 2006 and was not discussed by the general student senate. The stipend is identical to those paid to student leaders of organizations like Union Board, Catch and TKS. Those stipends have been in place for many years.
Committees
Committees for student senate will change every so often, depending on what the students think is important, and what needs wish to be met. Past committees have included: Safety and Services, Technology, Residential Quality of Life, and many more.

In 2022, there are seven standing Student Senate committees: Dining Services, Finance, Campus Life, Health and Wellness, Sustainability, Diversity, and Campus Outreach. They each meet once a week throughout the week to discuss campus issues and write resolutions.

Committee Meeting Times

Student Senate Update
At least once per week the Communications Officer sends a Student Senate Update e-mail to the entire campus, containing the minutes of the previous meeting. These minutes are meant to be word-for-word, but as a single person collects them by typing them as quickly as possible as things are said, they are generally not completely verbatim. Senators are, however, sent the minutes prior to the campus wide email with the opportunity to correct them. Senators are also encouraged to email text of extended statements to the Senate Clerk. Non-senators, on the other hand, do not have the opportunity to correct their remarks, and thus their views are more often inadequately expressed in the minutes. Moreover, whereas in previous years the Clerk was a neutral body and not permitted to participate in debate, the current Senate administration has allowed the Clerk to participate in debate on numerous occasions, raising serious questions of bias in Senate recordkeeping.

The only way to get the full experience is to attend the meeting.

Club Budget Process
The Finance Committee administrates the club budget process. At the beginning of Spring Term, representatives of all clubs must attend a meeting that explains the process. Soon after all clubs may bring draft budgets to members of the Finance Committee, who can provide assistance. All clubs submit final drafts, and then the committee apportions funds based on the total quantity of money available from the Student Activity Fee.

Controversies
Budget Process 2006
The budget decisions in 2006 caused a huge uproar because several clubs received less money then was usual when they failed to follow the detailed budget rules correctly. Notable clubs that protested their assignments at the 18 May 2006 Senate meeting included Caxton Club, Martial Arts Club, Badminton Club, Cricket Club, and Common Ground.

The problems with the 2006 process led to major reforms and simplifications in the budget process during the 2006-2007 school year. Many say the subsequent budget process has gone much more smoothly, but for others, concerns remain regarding a variety of changes such as the new cap on the budget a club can request for a year and a (much lower) cap on additional funds/budget requests for a new club's first year.

Executive Board By-Laws Rewrite 2007
Shortly after election of the new Executive Board for the 2007-2008 school year, President-elect Brad Middleton, AJ Ross, and possibly others began rewriting the Senate By-Laws in secret. They were presented to the Executive Board for approval at its last meeting of the 2006-2007 school year on May 23. Prior to that point, most of the Executive Board knew nothing of the proposed By-Laws changes, although they had been leaked to other sources.

There were two primary changes: The less controversial change added agreement by unanimous consent to the By-Laws. The second major change radically altered the procedural structure by which Student Senate considers resolutions. Whereas previously the Senate considered motions brought to the floor on the floor and only referred them to committee on occasions when the issues required significant development, the changes require that all resolutions be referred to committee unless the Chair (typically the President) or a 2/3 majority of Senate (the same threshold used for amending the constitution) decide to refer it directly to the floor. In committee, a resolution must gain the support of the committee chair (and in result the Executive Board) as well as the administration before it may be debated on the Senate floor.

The Executive Board approved the changes unanimously, and according to Senate President Brad Middleton they will be introduced as law in the first Senate meeting of the 2007-2008 year.

The objections were twofold: first, the Executive Board had fundamentally altered the procedures by which Senate does business without allowing Senate to vote on the matter. The Executive Board justified itself using Article 4 Section 1 Clause 3 of the Student Senate Constitution, which states "The Executive Board shall have the power to act for the full Senate at times when the Senate is not in session." The Executive Board apparently interpreted this as carte blanche, while others feel that it is an abuse of the caretaker powers assigned to Senate. The question of further use of this privilege appeared in the Discourse article, including concerns that the Executive Board could nullify acts of Senate after Senate had adjourned, or act in regard to resolutions it considered particular desirable or undesirable, crippling or approving them between Thursdays and then reporting the results as a fait accompli.

The second objection concerned the actual new resolution procedures. The changes have been interpreted to mean that the Executive Board and the administration now have the power to kill resolutions they do not like, irrespective of the opinions of the Senate. Multiple members of the Executive Board have suggested that they can be trusted not to abuse this power, but some question may be raised as to the honesty of that, considering the method by which the changes were approved; also, regardless of whether or not it is consciously abused, the style of power such an amendment allows may well put the student body's definition of abuse, which would center on maintaining its democratic right to control its Senate, at odds with the Executive Board's, which will apparently focus more on cultivating a relationship with the administration and deciding bills in small committees and among the Board than respecting the sense of Senate and the student body as a whole.

Although not specified in the amendment, Senate President Brad Middleton suggested that the motion to move a resolution directly to the floor would occur during the Additions and Revisions to the Agenda portion of the meeting - but, as the motion would likely be interpreted narrowly, might not allow members of the Senate to have details on a resolution before a vote to consider is taken, likely eliminating all but the most extraordinary chance of a bill being successfully taken from committee. Notably, the US Congress has a similar rule to take from committee, only requiring a simple majority - a feat even they rarely achieve.

Knox College in Galesburg, IL holds a day of flunking every year. It flunking rocks.

See Flunk Day 2021 for info specific to this year

Flunk Day is tomorrow.

Flunk Day is an annual event at Knox College where, by surprise, all classes are canceled. A day's worth of carnival-like activities are planned.

The first Flunk Day of record was May 11, 1922, but the tradition of a student-initiated spring festival dates back to the early years of the 20th century and "Roughneck Day" -- which was the conclusion to "Roughneck Week," when the men didn't shave and both men and women students wore ragged clothing.

Secrecy
Date
There is always speculation about the date of Flunk Day. Some people say the date moves depending on the weather or whether students already know it's Flunk Day. The logic behind this notion goes that if too many people know it's Flunk Day before the date, they will get drunk the night before and be more likely to get alcohol poisoning during the day.

This notion may just be an effect of the scare-letdown dynamic that the speculation creates for students. Some say that the date for Flunk Day is fixed from the beginning.

Planning
A subcommittee of Union Board plans Flunk Day, and only the select members on the committee know the date. In 2007-2008, the two coordinators of Union board were Meryl Leventon and Alex Clark and Pam Schuller was the secret planner.
In 2008-2009, the known planners were Alex Clark, Whitney Mackie, Ginny Graves, and Pam Schuller.
In 2009-2010, the known planners were Ginny Graves, Britt Anderson (co-coordinators), Jenni Nefzger, and Martha Baumgarten. Please ask them when Flunk Day will be held.
In 2017, the Flunk Day Planner was Vlad Papancea. He made sure that it was a nice, sunny, flunky flunk day.

Select members of the College Staff, mostly in the Office of Student Development, know the date.

Flunk Day Does Not Exist
Let us start with our assumption: Flunk Day is a surprise. We can see that this assumption is indeed reasonable as we do not know when Flunk Day is to occur. Now let us just suppose that Flunk Day were to happen this week. Then suppose that we got to Thursday without Flunk Day happening. Knowing Flunk Day happens this week and that the current day is Thursday, we could conclude that Friday must be Flunk Day. But such a conclusion contradicts the assumption that Flunk Day is a surprise (seeing as we would know when Flunk Day would be). So we now know that Flunk Day cannot happen on Friday.

Now suppose we made it to Wednesday and Flunk Day has not yet happened. Building off of what we just proved, Flunk Day could not be any day other than Thursday. But alas! This too violates our assumption that Flunk Day is a surprise, eliminating Thursday as a possible Flunk Day.

Now suppose the current day to be Tuesday and Flunk Day has still not happened. Since we know that Flunk Day is neither Friday nor Thursday, we would then be forced to conclude Flunk Day is on Wednesday, which is a violation of the assumption. If we made it to Monday and it were not yet Flunk Day, it must be on Tuesday! But alas, this too leads to a contradiction and thus we know Flunk Day cannot be on Tuesday. If it isn’t Friday, Thursday, Wednesday, or Tuesday, it must be on Monday! But this too is a contradiction, and thus we are forced to conclude Flunk Day is not this week!

Please note that the logic given can be applied to the entire year if Flunk Day was not this week (ie If we make it to the second to last day of this term with no Flunk Day, then we would know Flunk Day is on the last day, but that would violate our assumption and thus we would know it cannot be on the last day. Suppose we get to the third to last day… etc.) Now, we can logically conclude one of two things:

1. Flunk Day is not a surprise
2. Flunk Day can never happen

Dean Romano strongly insists that Flunk Day will be a surprise each year. Thus, logically, the second statement is the truth.

Also See Students For Flunk Day Truth

The problem with the logic.

Assume we know that El Dia de Flunk is to occur on a weekday of a given term. Assume also the nature of the day is 'surprising,' but not unknowable.

Situation 1). If we get to the 29th of May and the last chance for Flunk day to occur is the 30th, then Flunk day is no longer a surprise but still exists, as its date is knowable.

Situation 2). If it is the 28th of May, then the presuppositions have changed, and the result is that Flunk day may or may not occur on the 29th or the 30th (50/50 chances). However, if Flunk day does not occur on the 29th, then we must resort to Situation 1. If Flunk day does occur on the 29th, it is still Flunk day, because there is a chance that Flunk day could occur on a knowable day, but that its suprising nature would be lessened.

Situation 3). If it is the 27th, Flunk day may occur on the 28th, 29th, or the 30th (in which case there is a 33.3% chance that it will occur on any one of those days). If Flunk day does not occur on the 28th or 29th, then we must resort to Situation 1. If Flunk day does not occur on the 28th, then we must resort to Situation 2. If Flunk day occurs on the 27th, the surprise still exists because there was a chance that Flunk day could have occurred on the 28th, or could have occurred on that knowable day.

etc.

There are other situations in which the date of Flunk day becomes more or less knowable:

1) Flunk day clues on Wikifire increase the knowability of Flunk day, and decrease the suprisability

2) Flunk day hype decreases the knowability and increases the suprisability.

3) Flunk day lies/rumors on Wikifire decrease the knowability and increase the suprisability.

4) Flunk day inside-tips increase the knowability and increase the suprisability.

5) Drinking decreases the knowability and increases the suprisability.

6) Pulling all-nighters decreases the knowability (and the functionality) and increases the suprisability.

7) Spying increases the knowability and has no effect on the suprisability.

8) Blasting "Like a G-6" has no effect on anything.

9) Procrastination has no effect on anything.

You can change your Flunk day experience, and thus the nature of Flunk day by using these situations to change the knowability and suprisability of Flunk day.

FLUNK DAY EXISTS, albeit in many forms.

Scares & Speculation
The Safety Email
At some point during every spring term, someone in the administration sends out an email with a list of safety precautions regarding the coming Flunk Day.

In 2006, the email was sent out the day before Flunk Day (some say to preempt scares) leading to rumors in 2007 that Flunk Day would happen before the safety email was sent out.

Flunk Day Scares
Most years there are one or more Flunk Day scares. Some scares are intentionally instigated and perpetuated by a student, or more commonly, a group of students. Some scares occur spontaneously, when a given date is widely rumored to be Flunk Day. Scares may be corroborated by a variety of evidence.

The earliest known flunk day scare occurred during the Flunk Day 2010 season. On September 29, 2009, three weeks into fall term student Allison Buccalo spotted tractor trailers parked outside her off-campus house. Following the sighting multiple students were found digging out the mud pit before being instructed by Campus Safety to "go to bed".

Lawn-mowing
This piece of evidence has been cited both ways. The grass being mowed the day before a candidate date has been cited as evidence as well as the grass not being mowed. Xavier Romano says they mow the grass every day, which would take care of at least half of this criterion. Lawn-mowing is also epidemiologically linked to contracting tularemia, a potentially fatal zoonotic disease caused by aerosolization of rodent remains infected with the bacterium francisella tularensis.

The Mailroom
The night before Flunk Day 2006, Union Board stuffed student mailboxes early enough that students were able to discover the items before the mailroom closed. Some say precautions will be taken in the future, but lights on a closed mailroom have been cited as evidence on at least one occasion.

Friars
In past years, evidence of friars being picked up (a van driving around campus, sudden absence of seniors) has been cited. However, for 2007, friars will be alerted the morning of Flunk Day, eliminating this criterion. In 2009, senior students were invited to be part of what was a massive Flunk Day scare but turned out to be FLUNK DAY ITSELF!! It was so clever. Two freshmen girls almost managed to pass as seniors and be Friars too, what with all of the confusion, but they were caught in time and the tradition remained sacred.

Flunk Day TKS
The staff of TKS do not know when Flunk Day will be. They try to get the Flunk Day issue of the newspaper finished early in the term so that they will be ready to distribute it when El Dia del Flunk occurs, but the completion of the paper does not indicate Flunk Day's arrival. In past years, the Flunk Day issue of TKS has not been ready on the actual date, and has had to be distributed later.

Wallace Lounge
This is the secret, secret litmus test of Flunk Day. It is such a strong indicator that I don't want to reveal it in its entirety. But once it happens, Flunk Day is tomorrow, without a doubt.

Confirming Flunk Day
The Hotline
If you don't have access to your email, you can also dial the flunk day hotline at x8008 to find out if it's Flunk day. This is not the most reliable source, however, as in both 2006 and 2007 the hotline had not changed its message by the time the campus was woken up.

Currently if you call the hotline, the automated response still says, "Today, May 4th is Flunk Day"

As of 2021, the hotline has been updated and is operational.

Campus Safety
If you have only ever used the extension *7979 to get someone, anyone, to please unlock the door to your room, you are missing out. Though they will be reluctant, they will always answer truthfully to the question "Is it Flunk Day today?" However, they are trickier than you think. If it is not Flunk Day, they will tell you. If it is Flunk Day, they will tell you to wait for the e-mail. A good way to make the question legitimate is to say you live in the quads and that loud drunk seniors have woken you up. An excellent resource at 5 in the morning when you feel like getting muddy and Knox Wireless takes forever to load your email.

The Flunk Day Email
On the actual morning of Flunk Day a staff member, still to be determined for 2009-2010, sends out an all-campus email letting everyone know that it is, in fact, the real Flunk Day. This is really the only reliable means of determining whether it is Flunk Day, or just a Flunk Day scare.

In 2007 the email was down at 5:30am. Fearing that students would not believe it was really flunk day without the official email, Xavier Romano sent a text message to Ellen Vessels confirming that it was indeed flunk day.

In 2013 Deb (bless her heart) was running late and thus so did the email. More stubborn members of the campus almost missed out on the earlier mornings. Thank goodness for more stubborn friends, eh?

Flunk Day Activities
Flunk Day activities

There are many traditional Flunk Day activities.

The day starts with the entire campus being waken by the Friars, a group of seniors selected to start Flunk Day. The first activity most students engage in is drinking, this usually continues through the day for many. In the morning, students enjoy a mud pit and foam pit to the sounds of a DJ. During the afternoon (usually after a nap) the lawn south of Seymour Hall has inflatable carnival games and karaoke. In past years, some students have also enjoy a bike ride to Lake Storey, though this activity was missing from the Flunk Day 2007 schedule.

All meals are served outdoors on Flunk Day. Though one year breakfast was held inside and there was a squad that stole a giant tub of cookie dough ice cream.

((Bon Appetite is doing weird schtuff and rumors of the Gizmo being open are circulating. Sounds like a terrible plan, imho))

Flunk Day Issue of The Knox Student
Flunk Day Issue 2007

Each year TKS comes out with a spoof issue of the newspaper. In 2005 and 2006, the spoof issue of the paper had not been produced yet so it was not in mailboxes the morning of as usual. In 2007, the paper was produced and printed well before May 8 and was drunkenly collected by many students. Controversy arose, however, due to the nature of the front page headline which read "Jesus Fucking Christ to speak at 2008 commencement." President Taylor, Xavier Romano, and Larry Breitborde called a meeting of the TKS editorial staff to discuss the issue. At the meeting Roger delivered a speech in which he expressed his thoughts. On the following day, he issued an email to the campus.

Controversy
General
Flunk Day is the source of much controversy because many students get very drunk. Every year, somebody (or somebodies) gets hurt and goes to the hospital. Every year, people say that Flunk Day might get canceled. The rumor spreads easily because the injuries and alcohol use are a liability for the college.

However, Knox President Roger Taylor stated in an article in The Knox Student that only about 100 people drink excessively on Flunk Day.

He is almost definitely wrong. Or his understanding of what constitutes 'excessive' drinking goes well beyond even students' standards of inebriation.

Students For Flunk Day Truth Committee
In the weeks of long anticipation leading to Flunk Day 2007 an underground committee of an undisclosed number of dedicated Knox students founded the Students For Flunk Day Truth Committee. A response to the campus-wide mass hallucination known as "Flunk Day," two harrowingly truthful documents, posted in two waves, were printed by the hundreds and posted about campus to educate the campus at large. However, as the truth came to light in the morning hours following the 3 a.m. postings of aforementioned articles, posters began to vanish in what was likely an administrative decision to silence the truth.

Founded in the Fall of 2004, as Kappa Pi Omega, Sigma Chi is the newest Fraternity at Knox.

Despite their overwhelming need to be seen as "the good frat", in the summer of 2020 several current and former Sigma Chi members were accused of, and admitted to, sexual assault. These acts happened both during Sigma Chi events and in their chapter house over the course of the previous several years, and were common knowledge to other Sig Chi brothers. In October of 2020 Sigma Chi announced the creation "working groups" where they consulted members of the community and survivors as to the best path moving forward for the chapter.

Despite an overwhelming response that the chapter should disband, they announced in the world's worst Twitter post that they will continue to move forward as a chapter. Since then, they have continued to ignore criticism, going so far as suspending 5 new pledges who spoke up about their discomfort with the chapter's refusal to listen to literally anyone who isn't a rabid supporter of theirs. Henceforth, anyone who is a Sig Chi member in the year of our lord 2020 and beyond either lacks basic understanding/empathy, or simply does not give a shit about supporting an organization that knowingly and intentionally covered up their member's acts of abuse for years.

Because of this, Sigma Chi will now be declared the "#1 Knox Frat For Rapists"

In 2021, due to inter-fraternity drama and a terrible handling of dealing with their actions, they were officially disbanded.

Academics
Sigma Chi had a strong emphasis on academic excellence, and offered tools to help members achieve their academic goals. Their commitment to scholastic achievement was apparent in their history. They required all of their brothers to achieve a minimum GPA of 2.90. Sigma Chi posted a group GPA of 3.2, which was the highest GPA for a Greek organization on campus at the time. They used to support their academic ambitions by holding study sessions and offering tutoring to help fellow brothers realize their potential.

Despite how smart they are, they still couldn't figure out what accountability or consent is.

Well-rounded lifestyle
They also strongly believed in the importance of a round lifestyle while at Knox, balancing academics with campus involvement, and taking time to relish the opportunities afforded to us by college life. It was the fusion of all these elements that makes for a complete college experience, and provides each member of the organization with a solid foundation upon which to build a successful life.

Chapter members participated in many organizations and teams on campus. One of the most strenuous activities members engaged in was dodging any and all responsibility for their actions.

Parties
Sigma Chi was known for nudism, especially at the annual Anything But Clothes party, which was held at a fraternity for the first time in fall 2006. Other popular parties were the Nightshift, Mayhem, Pimpin' 'Round the World, Get Funked Up, Pajamarama, and Jock Jams. The previously mentioned parties have happened less and less in recent years.
Controversy
At the time Sigma Chi was founded (then as KPO), the Inter-Fraternity Council opposed their petition. IFC contended that the process for establishing a new fraternity had been subverted and expedited for no reason. IFC also felt that allowing a group largely consisting of first years to establish a new fraternity during Fall Term flew in the face of the long established rule that prevents established fraternities from recruiting first-year men until Winter Term. The Administration disregarded the wishes of IFC and allowed Sigma Chi to proceed.

Sigma Chi's recruitment strategy has also created some controversy. Prior to Sigma Chi's founding, the established Fraternities did not practice "informal" or year-round recruiting, as the IFC bi-laws were read to be essentially forbidding this practice. As such, the other fraternities only pledged new members at the end of the formal Rush period. However, Sigma Chi took advantage of ambiguous language in the IFC bi-laws and began recruiting and pledging members year round. As of 2007, (thanks to one of the founding brothers, Randy Geary '09 who was elected IFC President for the '07-'08 academic year) IFC was working to clarify the rules so that all fraternities would be on a level playing field regarding recruitment.

Also, they were rapists. So.

It's a day where you...
and then you...

Good luck. Nobody knows what it is, but it all started when posters showed up all around campus dating it to January 22nd, 2022. There has been one more since. We are waiting for the announcement of a third. Carry a stake at your own risk.

3 Vampire days have happened since January 22nd, 2022, with one seemingly happening per month. February 11th, and March 9th were all vampire days as well. While unknown who put up the posters or what the intention behind vampire day is, students have interpreted it to dress up like a vampire, which many already do daily. Students would wear dark/old fashioned clothes as well as fangs to look as vampire like as possible.

Policies
Symptom Tracking
Every day Knox students would receive an email asking about covid symptoms, test results, and temperature. Students were required to fill out this survey everyday. Depending on your results, you were either asked to stay inside, placed in quarantine, or were good to go.

Initial Quarantine
When students first arrived on campus during the pandemic, they were placed in initial quarantine. Initial quarantine resulted in students taking a covid test, and staying inside of their dorms for their results. Masks were required to be worn at all times except in student's own dorms. Students could not leave the campus. Students would quarantine in their dorms until their first test result, then which they would take a second one. After receiving their first negative test result, students would move into modified quarantine.

Modified Quarantine
When students received their first negative result, they would be placed into modified quarantine. Modified quarantine lasted 2 weeks. During this time students were able to hang out in their suite and walk around on campus. Students were not able to leave the county, but could go into town. Masks were required at all times except in students own dorms. After 2 weeks, students were able to go into a regular quarantine.

After Quarantine
When students finished quarantining, they were allowed to hang out with other students in other suites, go to classes, and eat food in the cafeteria. Students did have to social distance and wear masks at all times.

Positive Test Results
If students received a positive or inconclusive test result, or were in contact with a student who tested positive, they were placed into quarantine. Students were placed into Conger-Neal for 2 weeks until they received a negative test result. These were referred to as the quarantine dorms. Students had their food delivered to them, and could not leave the building until they tested negative, or were in quarantine for 2 weeks. Knox kept a record of all students in quarantine to keep track of the positive cases on campus.

After Vaccination
After students received vaccines, they were able to go mask-less outside, but required a mask inside of academic buildings.

General Student Reaction
A giant majority of students were very diligent about following protocols, as they wished to keep themselves and everyone else around them safe. Some students remained home during part or all of the year. Not all students were safe, as there were some illegal parties throughout the year, or some groups of students would not wear masks in private, or many students purposefully wore their masks incorrectly.

Many students also did not fill out the daily symptom tracking, as they deemed it too tedious, or lied on the survey as any marking of any symptom would send an alert to the health services, even if that symptom was from a disability or other previous condition. For example one of the symptoms listed was headaches, which can have many causes that do not include covid, such as eyestrain from zoom class, not getting enough sleep, or even being hungover.

Timeline
Winter Break 2019 - Winter Term 2020
Word of a mysterious new coronavirus was spreading through China. At first we had all assumed that it wasn't anything to be too worried about, but oh boy were we wrong. I don't know if Knox released any statements regarding the outbreak in either late 2019 or during winter term 2020 (as the person writing this was not a student at the time), but I'm sure there was something.

Spring Term 2020
During the academic year of 2019-2020, there was a global pandemic of the virus Covid-19. Knox switched to Virtual Classes using the program Zoom. Flunk day became virtual, and students were sent home.

Fall Term 2020
Knox College decided to open up campus during the fall term, though students could choose to take entirely virtual classes from home. There were many guidelines in place about how to stay safe during these times. All students on campus were covid tested, and placed into quarantine until they received their results a few days later. Modified quarantine resulted in students staying inside their dorms, only leaving to grab food at the cafeteria (social distanced of course), and having masks on at all times excluding dorm rooms. After students received their test results, they would either be placed into modified quarantine if they were given a negative result, or placed into quarantine if given a positive or inconclusive result. Knox only tested about 10% of the student body every week, and students were chosen at random. The tests were unpleasant, as you had to get a cotton swap up your nose.

Knox kept track of the percentage of positive testing and quarantined students on record, and would publish the data on their website. Positive testing and quarantined students were kept anonymous on the data. The percentage of positive testing students was always very low, but the quarantined student percentage was always slightly higher. There were many instances of an athlete testing positive, which resulted in the the entire team of that sport being quarantined. This was confirmed the case for Men's Soccer, Men's Football, and Woman's Swimming, as well as a few other teams.

Many things on campus were changed extensively, from hours of facilities, to the cafeteria, to classrooms. Students were advised to only stay on campus, and required permission to leave the county. The gym was only open for athletes and had to be closed every few hours for cleaning. The cafeteria originally was just a tent outside that gave students to go boxes with food and a few snacks, but eventually changed back to the cafeteria building where the staff would serve limited amounts of food buffet style with limited inside seating. A majority of classes were remote, but some had the option to go in person as a hybrid class. These hybrid classes both had students in person and on zoom. If you were in person, masks and social distancing were still required. Many clubs were still on campus, but were limited in their activities and membership.

Even though the pandemic stopped many events, that is not to say that this year was uneventful. Improv Club still had a show, Ultimate Frisbee was revamped and became very popular, and a protest even happened on campus, which you can read about in Fall 2020 Protest. Official ensembles on campus were still able to practice, all be it in a limited fashion. Terpsichore, Choir, and Theater were all able to at least practice throughout the term.

During this time, because of Teresa Amott's retirement at the end of the year, a search for a new president was on it's way. With both faculty and student committees dedicated to finding the right candidate.

Winter Term 2021
The first half of winter term was entirely virtual. After 5 weeks off campus, students were given one week off to quarantine back on campus. The same policies were in place, but the tests were swapped to saliva tests, and every student was tested every 2 weeks. Vaccines were open in Peoria for students who had previous conditions.

Many things had opened up a bit more, as the gym became open to everyone and not just athletes, and the caf allowed more students to eat inside. These changes felt very minimal, as due to the cold weather most students remained inside regularly.

The search for a new President was still on it's way, and after many rounds of interviews, the committees had decided that Dr. Andy McGadney would become the next president of Knox College. Throughout the process he was noted for his inclusivity, as after a student asked a question regarding KDSA, he made sure to mention in all of his following comments what changes he could implement for disabled students. He was also noted for wearing a bowtie to all interviews.

Spring Term 2021
The same policies were put in place, but vaccines were open to many more on campus. Vaccine clinics were held to help get students fully vaccinated. By the end of the year a large majority of students and faculty were vaccinated. Because students were given a week off in the middle of winter term, spring break became non-existent. Many rules regarding masks were lifted as students became vaccinated, as if you were fully vaccinated you were able to go outside with out a mask and hang out with other vaccinated students inside with out a mask. Though all academic buildings still required a mask.

After 10 years, President Teresa Amott retired on July 1st, and Dr. McGadney took over as the 20th President of Knox College.

Summer Term 2021
Knox started offering summer classes for the first time, with many classes offering a remote/hybrid option. Masks were still required in person. Classes were often only half credits, though it was possible for students to take more than one class.

Dr. Andy McGadney became president of Knox College. In an interview with TSPR, McGadney released some details about his personal life and his plan for the upcoming 2021-2022 year, developing "an alternative plan that would require testing".

Fall 2021
Knox required all students and faculty to be fully vaccinated, (with religious exceptions).

The gym was only open for athletes and had to be closed every few hours for cleaning. The cafeteria originally was just a tent outside that gave students to go boxes with food and a few snacks, but eventually changed back to the cafeteria building where the staff would serve limited amounts of food buffet style.

Many things had opened up a bit more, as the gym became open to everyone and not just athletes.

After 10 years, President Teresa Amott retired at the end of the term.

The gym was only open for athletes and had to be closed every few hours for cleaning. The cafeteria originally was just a tent outside that gave students to go boxes with food and a few snacks, but eventually changed back to the cafeteria building where the staff would serve limited amounts of food buffet style.

Many things had opened up a bit more, as the gym became open to everyone and not just athletes.

After 10 years, President Teresa Amott retired at the end of the term.

Knox's policies during the COVID-19 pandemic. This was referred to as "Knox Together 2020-2021" but I think that name is lame as hell.

Timeline
Monday September 28th
First year at the time Abigail King was not happy with the actions of some other first year students living on the first floor of Raub Sellew. As it was an election year, a few conservative students had Trump 2020 flags posted in their windows facing the courtyard. King was not happy with this decision, and took it upon herself to buy small pride flags and stick them in the ground outside underneath their windows. She placed the first one at 4pm, went to dinner, and noticed it had disappeared when she returned. She then placed a second flag under a different window at 6:45 and left to go to CTL tutoring. When she returned around 8pm, the flag had been noticeably kicked over, so she replaced it and had a friend take a photo (which I will post here as soon as I can figure out how to add a photo to a wiki page). After having taken the photo, King and her friends noticed a small group of boys curse them out and steal the flag. They got the entire event on video, and sent it to admin.

Tuesday September 29th
A bunch of students talked about how they had noticed the flags, and wished to annoy those who stole the flags, and so grabbed chalk and wrote many wholesome messages on the concrete in the courtyard. These included statements such as "Love is Love", "Donkey Kong says Trans Rights", "Black Lives Matter," and the controversial "Only D3?" which was a reference to how Raub Sellew is full of athletes, and how Knox is a Division 3 school, as these athletes were not good enough to get into a school with a higher division. Many students who lived in the dorms tried to erase the chalk by stepping on it or trying to wash it away with water. Many who lived in 5-name placed post it notes in the windows of their suites which read along the lines of "Love is Love", or "Love has no gender".
This night also coincided with a presidential debate. BIPOC students gathered outside of Raub Sellew to protest the presence of the Trump flags and were reported to have had racial slurs shouted at them from students within Raub Sellew.

Wednesday September 30th
A silent sit in was organized outside of the dorms, and about ~33 students came. Protests organized by objectively cool students of color 3rd year Monica Cardoza and 2nd years Manny Pina and Isaiah Simon (Who I believe literally deserve all of the credit) They held 15 minutes of silence which opened the door for other students to speak on what the Trump flags meant to them, continued all afternoon and into the night, where students played music, flew the flag of Mexico and a pride flag, and shared the racism they face at Knox and how unsafe the flags made them feel. At this point, the student in the video who had stolen the pride flag was identified, and rightfully suspended for theft. Alumni Brianna Goodwin and President of ABLE Myla Boyd sent demands to admin that will be posted down below.

October 1st Thursday
King's friends pressured her to do a police report as her property was technically stolen. She filed one, but never heard back anything from Campus Safety or the Galesburg Police.

Aftermath
An article in The Knox Student was released, an email sent out by Teresa Amott, and Knox (hopefully) strived to meet the listed demands that send in by students of color.
BIPOC students do not feel that their demands were met and felt that the response to them was lackluster. Not much action was taken. The students who had the Trump flags up took them down on their own accord. Rain Garrant held conversations with the students to help them understand why they faced so much backlash for their flags.

Listed Student Demands
“We demand that the students who displayed hate speech :
Take down Trump flags from windows. As stated previously, these flags represent hate speech that we have heard from these people, it is not freedom of speech.
Are immediately terminated from their perspective sports teams (if applicable).
Have their scholarships revoked and redistributed to Black, Indigenous and People of Color.
Participate in trainings on concepts of race, sexuality, gender identity and sexual
assault. And not only go through these training sessions, but also participate in dialogues about these issues.
We also demand that :
Intercultural life peer educators hold a conversation with the students that have
hung Trump flags and the students that have spread hate speech on campus with
others that were there to organize and take up space.
Knox significantly expands scholarship and funding opportunities for undocumented students/DACA recipients (prioritizing BIPOC).
The race discussion requirement of FP, as demanded in the Spring, be re-evaluated with PAID STUDENT feedback, and quickly re-shaped.
An investigation is conducted on the Knox Athletics Department for failing to
protect BIPOC LGBTQ+ students, failing to adequately prevent sexual assault, and
additionally for censoring Black student athletes from engaging in activism around
Black life and using their positions on teams to silence them. Many Black student
athletes feel alienated when trying to bring up issues of Black life within the department, and consequently never feel like truly part of the team.
All staff in the Athletics Department undergo additional LGBTQ+, BIPOC-centered Sexual Assault training.
That any and all relationships the Title IX office has with any other department
be officially and entirely disbanded, including that with the Athletics department, as
to prevent and end unfair protectionism.
The athletic department will examine its own culture that they currently uphold and will implement solutions to develop a culture that upholds BIPOC and
LGBTQIA students.
That Knox includes and PAYS LGBTQ+ BIPOC students in all decision making
processes.”

Day 2
A bunch of students talked about how they had noticed the flags, and wished to annoy those who stole the flags, and so grabbed chalk and wrote many wholesome messages on the concrete in the courtyard. These included statements such as "Love is Love", "Donkey Kong says Trans Rights", "Black Lives Matter," and the controversial "Only D3?" which was a reference to how Raub Sellow is full of atheles, and how Knox is a Division 3 school, as these athletes were not good enough to get into a school with a higher division. Many students who lived in the dorms tried to erase the chalk by stepping on it or trying to wash it away with water. Many students placed post it notes in the windows of their suites which read along the lines of "Love is Love", or "Love has no gender".

Day 3
A silent sit in was organized outside of the dorms, and about ~75 students came. Protests organized by students of color who I don't know the names of but deserve 100% of the credit, continued all afternoon and into the night, where students played music, flew the flag of Mexico and a pride flag, and had a great time. This was an especially important protest, as it was the night of one of the presidential debates. At this point, the student in the video who had stolen the pride flag was identified, and rightfully suspended for theft.

Day 4
King's friends pressured her to do a police report as her property was technically stolen. She filed one, but never heard back anything from Campus Safety or the Galesburg Police. She doesn't care about getting the flags back, she's just happy she was the catalyst for big changes to happen on campus.

Aftermath
An article in The Knox Student was released, an email sent out by Teresa Amott, and Abigail King was referred to once as "hey you're that kid who put the pride flags down". Literally credit the students of color with everything.

Source: Literally King herself. Will update when I find the article that credits other students because I didn't have anything to do with the protests and they deserve the credit.

Knox's policies during the COVID-19 pandemic. This was referred to as "Knox Together 2020-2021" but I think that name is lame as hell.

The gym was only open for athletes and had to be closed every few hours for cleaning. The cafeteria originally was just a tent outside that gave students to go boxes with food and a few snacks, but eventually changed back to the cafeteria building where the staff would serve limited amounts of food buffet style.

Many things had opened up a bit more, as the gym became open to everyone and not just athletes.

Summer Term 2021
Knox started offering summer classes this year. Many classes were remote, with some being on campus. Masks were still required in person.

Fall 2021
Knox required all students and faculty to be fully vaccinated, (with religious exceptions).
SusKnoxStudenthttp://thewikifire.org/index.php?title=Knox%27s_Community_Guidelines_for_COVID-19&diff=33263Knox's Community Guidelines for COVID-192021-07-29T19:00:40Z
SusKnoxStudent: /* Winter Term 2021 */

The gym was only open for athletes and had to be closed every few hours for cleaning. The cafeteria originally was just a tent outside that gave students to go boxes with food and a few snacks, but eventually changed back to the cafeteria building where the staff would serve limited amounts of food buffet style. A majority of classes were remote, but some had the option to go in person as a hybrid class. These hybrid classes both had students in person and on zoom. If you were in person, masks and social distancing were still required. Many clubs were still on campus, but were limited in their activities and membership.

Spring Term 2021
The same policies were put in place, but vaccines were open to many more on campus. Vaccine clinics were held to help get students fully vaccinated. By the end of the year a large majority of students and faculty were vaccinated.

Summer Term 2021
Knox started offering summer classes this year. Many classes were remote, with some being on campus. Masks were still required in person.

Fall 2021
Knox required all students and faculty to be fully vaccinated, (with religious exceptions).
SusKnoxStudenthttp://thewikifire.org/index.php?title=RA&diff=33252RA2021-07-11T17:59:15Z
SusKnoxStudent:

RAs, or Resident Assistants are upperclassmen who live in the dorms to make sure everything is going okay. They can help settle disputes, help students who are locked out, and be a great resource for underclassmen. Sometimes they can be narcs though.

They can be awesome, but some can suck. The best ones are the alcohol suppliers.

Overview
Greek is the most superior form of academic snobbery found on the Knox campus. Each year ten or so students take the Elementary or Advanced Greek courses led by academic all-stars such as Steve Fineberg, Jon Chicken, and Nathan Bethell. Knox Greek scholars confine themselves to George Davis Hall where they spend hours discussing genitive absolutes, syntax, dactylic poetry, and Homer.

Virtual Classes, also known as "Zoom Classes" were a phenomenon during the covid 19 pandemic. It was accomplished using the program Zoom.

Benefits
Virtual classes did have a few upsides, as all classes were recorded so if you missed a day you could see what was covered. The program Knox used to store recordings also allowed for use of captions, which was very helpful for students with disabilities or if you wanted to read through the lectures right before the final. Because classes were not in person, pants were not required. You could wake up 2 minutes before class and open your laptop and be present. Because of the camera function, you did not need to even be shown in class, (though many professors required cameras on). Zoom allows the use of virtual backgrounds, so you didn't have to embarrass yourself with all your classmates seeing your messy dorm room. A little known zoom feature was a skin smoothing feature, which would hide some of your acne because why bother doing your skin care routine or your makeup when your mask covers a majority of your face anyways? If you used zoom on a computer, often times you could switch tabs so you didn't have to pay attention, or just use your phone out of view of the camera. The use of the chat function was very useful for side conversations, as many people could share ideas without talking over each other (literally). It was very useful for making funny jokes or puns. You also had the ability to hide self view so you wouldn't have to stare at yourself, though I personally enjoyed admiring myself every time I could, so I never chose this option. The ability to share screens was very a very helpful learning tool, as you could see or share information very easily. The ability to pin people as well when a screen was shared was very helpful, as if there was only one person answering questions, or if someone had a very pretty zoom background, you could pin them and be able to see them when you could only see about 5 people. The mute button is also a godsend.

Also seeing someone's pet interrupt the zoom call was very adorable.

Downfalls
Because classes were virtual, I can confidentially say that I would not be able to pick out a majority of my classmates in person. Because many people kept their cameras off, it was way harder to connect with classmates if you ever ran into one in person, as you wouldn't be able to recognize them. If your laptop or phone was dead or updating for 30 minutes it was often hard to find a way to get to class. Because classes were recorded, if you were unfortunate enough to be one of the faces on the recording, then staring at yourself very obviously not paying attention is not the most fun thing. While you did have the option to hide your self view, you could not do so in recordings. When the pandemic hit, many struggled with how to transition to a virtual class. Not many people were a big fan of the changes, as they were very sudden. Many people might not have the quietest of homes, so teaching/learning was harder due to unavoidable background noise. Not every subject can perfectly translate to online learning, for example many science classes have labs they need to perform and many art classes as how are you going to build a set or create a clay pot without the proper tools. Many people also had no idea how to use the simple thing called the mute button. Because not everyone was on campus, time zones were often an issue, (I would know I had to wake up at 6am for a class), especially for international students, who often had to go to class at insane hours.
SusKnoxStudenthttp://thewikifire.org/index.php?title=Zoom&diff=33247Zoom2021-07-05T20:34:37Z
SusKnoxStudent: created page

SusKnoxStudenthttp://thewikifire.org/index.php?title=265_S._Academy&diff=33235265 S. Academy2021-05-30T16:42:52Z
SusKnoxStudent: /* Themes */

One of the theme housing houses on campus. Also known as The Quickie House, the Purple Cat, House of Cards, and SMASH House.

It consists of two singles, four doubles, three bathrooms, a kitchen and a common area. Most of the rooms in this house are either oddly L shaped or have ridiculously large closets. The house also has air conditioning, which is nice in the Fall and Spring. However, it is not possible for the whole house to be a comfortable temperature at the same time, because of the scientific principle of heat rising.

The "Quickie" House?
The Quickie House is next to the Quickie. It was known as the Quickie House for the 2007-08 school year. In the 2008-09 school year it was renamed the Purple Cat, a name that makes no sense, and the name 'Quickie House' stuck going into the future. No one listens to that name and for good reason.

The name "Quickie House" sparked debate last year about the nature of its inhabitants, but behind the suggestive name was a group who enjoyed playing cards and watching the craziness in the Quickie parking lot through their dining room windows. Its members were mostly female, except for Mike Yu and Marc Dreyfuss, who lived on the first floor in the smallest double room on campus.

There is speculation that many clubs on campus are very cult like, so this page is to document their cult-like activities.

Clubs that are definitely cults
Clubs we believe are truly cult like

Improv
Improv has games that only "members" of improv can know. They also apparently have their own Facebook messenger group chat. Very cult like 9/10.

Classics Club
Classics Club has no rule on human sacrifice and many members know dead languages. They practice rituals of past times. One of, if not the most cult like club on campus. 11/10

Ultimate Frisbee
Ultimate Frisbee is very terrifying. Once you join you can never leave. 10/10.

Clubs that are maybe cults
Super Smash Brothers Club seems slightly cult like. They are the shadow government of the senate as we all know, but they seem too caught up with playing video games to be much of a cult. But they do own a house on campus, so they can't be ruled out. 5/10

Anime Club also seems a little cult like. They mostly seem like a big friend group if anything. But they do own a house on campus, so we can't say they are not a cult. 6/10

Harry Potter Club seems like they might not be super culty, but they have rules against human sacrifice. 4/10

Tea Club sits around and drinks tea. Suspicious. 5/10.

Clubs that are not cults
Student Senate. -1/10

Super Smash Brother's Club is a weekly club that holds tournaments every week in Post Lobby. They are also the shadow government of Student Senate, but we can keep that a secret for now.

Smash House is short for Super Smash Brothers House. They play video games and have a Naruto poster on the wall. Residents of said house also are members of the Super Smash Brothers Club and host events every week. Despite the name, due to the pandemic not much smashing has been going on inside of the house. Tragic.
