COVID-19, or Coronavirus. is a global pandemic in the year 2020.

It has postponed/suspended many things around the world and Knox is no exception.

On March 12th 2020 Teresa Amott, our president, announced:

"After consultation with many members of the Knox community, including our Board of Trustees and faculty leadership, we have made the decision to extend spring break by one week and then to teach online for at least the first half of spring term. We hope that we can resume in-person classes and activities for the second half, but will make that decision later as we assess the risks to our community health."

Along with this change, spring seasons for sports have been cancelled.

The seniors are screwed basically, many are worried about graduation, and those with honors most likely cannot continue.

Friends are saying goodbye and not knowing when they will see each other again. Seniors are aware that this may be the last time they see some of their friends, as it is unknown if Knox will welcome students back before graduation.

It is a very surreal experience for Knox and for the world.
