The Lincoln Studies Center is a scholarly research office organized under the Special Programs offerings under the Office of Academic Affairs.

The Center, which is comprised entirely of two professors emeriti, dedicates itself to researching and publishing on the life and influence of Abraham Lincoln.

In February 2007 Douglas Wilson, one of the Center faculty, was awarded the aptly if uncreatively named Lincoln Prize for his book, Lincoln's Sword: The Presidency and the Power of Words. It was his second Lincoln Prize.
