A stub in The Wiki Fire, like a stub in Wikipedia, is a page that exists, but needs more content in order to be useful or informative. Generally the stub template should be applied to articles that need more content, especially when more content is known to be available. Just remember: adding the stub templat shouldn't take the place of doing some editing and expanding yourself!

To use the stub template, simply type "{{stub}}" (without quotes) at the end of an article. The text on the template page will automatically appear at the end of the article, and the article will automatically be added to the Stubs category.

When looking for articles to edit, it is then easy enough to go to the Stubs Category and look at what's in need of more content. If you have something to add, add it.
