teh rog says:

The College learned on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 that three Knox students conducted unsupervised experiments using household chemicals in a College residence hall. The College immediately investigated and arranged for the students' departure from campus that afternoon. Afterwards, they were suspended.

Galesburg Fire Department arranged for a hazardous materials consultant to inspect the residence hall. The consultant has advised the GFD and the College that there is no imminent public safety risk.

Because of privacy concerns for the students, I am not disclosing any additional details. However, if you have questions, feel free to call me.
