Julia knows who put the bop in the bop shoo bop shoo bop. It was her.

She can often be found in her room in [[Campbell-Elder]]4 listening to Abe Lyman, The Dorsey Brothers and Bill Haley (often at the same time) while reading Emily Post. Consequently, she always puts a napkin in her lap, asks "pardon?" instead of "huh?", and understands that men lead the way down the aisle of a theatre to find seats (unless an usher is taking tickets at the head of the aisle. In such a situation, the woman follows the usher.)

Julia has been described as cold and ruthless. She often speaks in a low monotone and breaks it only when something particularly exciting happens. Her humor is dark and dry (deadpan, if you will). This, combined with demureness, leads her to fail to acknowledge the existence of those around her regardless of familiarity.
