Seminary Street runs north-south a handful of blocks east of campus. It has several nice restaurants and is notably the home of Cornucopia.
Seminary Street is a street in Galesburg.  It runs north-south, and marks the 400 block east.

The street runs from its northern end at its interchange with Highway 34 (north of which it becomes County Road 1) to its southern end at Huston Street (south of which it becomes 400 E).  It runs straight, excepting where it crosses the Burlington Northern Santa Fe mainline track, where Seminary and South Street share the right-of-way through the Seminary Street Underpass.

Knox Admissions pushes Seminary Street heavily on prospective students and their parents as proof that Galesburg is a nice place to live.  However, the majority of Seminary Street landmarks (i.e., Chez Willy's, Innkeeper's, and The Landmark) are so expensive that Knox students aren't even allowed to look at them, much less go inside.

North of Main Street it is called North Seminary Street, and south of Main Street it is called South Seminary Street.

Features
Seminary Street runs through the length of Galesburg.  Seminary has an intersection with Highway 34 at its northern end.

The Seminary Street shopping district is the focal point of downtown rejuvenation in Galesburg.  Knox alum Jay Matson and his wife Mary were instrumental in the longevity of The Landmark and The Packinghouse.

Destinations along Seminary in downtown Galesburg are numerous.  The Landmark and Baked are on the street, and The Packinghouse is just off Seminary on Mulberry Street.  The Seminary Street Pub, Innkeeper’s, Cornucopia, and The Carriage House are also in the three-block area with brick streets.  The Amtrak station is just south of the downtown shopping area.  The UPS Store is on the corner of Seminary and Main Street.

Seminary Street Underpass
This is the main underpass for downtown traffic under the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad tracks.  It includes a sunken intersection at Seminary and South Street, which merge to go under the tracks.  The intersection can be a little confusing.
