"[[Veritasiness]]" was invented by [[Tom Fucoloro]]'s mother in reference to [[Stephen Colbert]]'s visit to the college in 2006. It is a translation of his own personal buzzword, "[[truthiness]]." The [[administration]] would later steal [[Tom's mother]]'s idea for a t-shirt they had made for the television star.
