Knox's Mascot is currently "Prairie Fire." This is meant to be innocuous but still inspiring for our sports teams, as opposed to the last mascot, which was racist and inspiring for bigots. However, some students have recently been heard discussing the possibility of a new mascot (pictured right).
In fact, the name could even remain the same, as "Prairie Fire" is about as good a way to describe President Lincoln with a machine-gun arm as any.
Xavier has recently become a proponent of changing the mascot to the Prairie Lobsters.
