Maggie and Annie belong to Steve Fineberg and Brenda Fineberg. They are very active, sweet, black dogs. Maggie is the older, calmer one. Annie is the younger, more rambunctious one. Maggie has a tail. Annie does not.
Maggie is mostly a black lab. Annie, rescued by Brenda from the Humane Society's puppy prison at the Sandburg Mall in 2002 (Steve had an absolute fit about that one..), is half black lab and half rottweiler. She has no tail because, being half rottweiler, her tail was docked.
Both dogs are vicious attack beggers, as Steve says. When dining at the Finebergs', you should expect that the head of at least one of the dogs will end up on your lap. Do not feed them.
Annie occupies her time by being a nuisance, and by bothering the coyotes that live in the creek bed near the Finebergs' home in the country. Maggie, eminently more sensible, likes to stay closer to home and out of trouble.
Maggie passed away over the summer of 2011. Annie was sad. So the Finebergs got a new friend for Annie named Hunter (previously Hunter changed to Magnisum, which did not stick and then changed back to Hunter)
