Over Spring Break 2006, 64 students and 3 staff/faculty members went on a trip to New Orleans, LA and Pass Christian, MS to do relief work in the wake of [[Hurricane Katrina]], which hit the gulf in August 2005.  Volunteers in New Orleans were based out of the Art Egg location of the [[Common Ground Collective]].
