John Schlaf used to be the Chief of Police of the Galesburg Police Department. He is a really nice guy, and can sometimes be seen riding around in a heavy-duty golf cart with other Campus Safety officers. He has been known to excuse the occasional Alcohol Violation, even if you have climbed a tree and refused to come down on Flunk Day. Trying to prove that you can recite the alphabet backwards and are therefore sober often makes this type of situation worse.
If you see John Schlaf out roaming campus, Flunk Day is tomorrow.
