Loren Lindgren was an admission counselor in the Office of Admission at Knox College. His recruitment area was Southern Illinois, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

In the summer of 2009 he played Harold Hill in the local production of the Music Man.

He received his B.A. in mathematics at Knox.
