A term of endearment(?) used by males to address other males they feel a sort of familial closeness to. May have originated from the shortening of the term "Fraternity Brother".
The term has gathered certain connotations since the beginning of its use and is now often used to mean "a stereotypical male between the ages of 13 and 26". Sometimes used as a synonym for Dude.
There are several types of Bro, including the DudeBro, DudeManBro, and Frat Boy.
The level of Broness that a male is imbibed with is denoted by the amount of Broetic titles attached to the word Bro when he is addressed. The deepest level of Bro that has been discovered is DudeBrahYoGuyManBroHomieSon.
