Spring 2000: Union Board holds "VergeFest" in the [[Seymour]] basement. Included on the bill were [[Green Scene]], [[Elizabeth Elmore]], [[The Essex Green]], [[The Stereo]], and [[Poster Children]]. [[The Apples in Stereo]] were scheduled to headline, but had to cancel due to drummer [[Hilarie Sidney]]'s pregnancy.

The show is subject to some controversy when promoters are forced to charge non-students a cover, due to the head planner's failure to secure enough funding to make the show free as advertised.
