This day came about in 2023 when [[Hannah Tannas]] and [[Lauren Wittry]] were getting dinner and Lauren got a cupcake with blue icing. Since Valentine's Day had recently happened and the caf had had cupcakes with red and pink icing, Hannah briefly thought the blue icing was for a holiday. However, there were no holidays on February 23...until then! February 23 will henceforth forever and always be known as Icicle Appreciation Day.
