LaVar Merrell (born June 24, 1986) is currently in college pursuing a degree in Sports Journalism. He attends the prestigious Knox College in Galesburg, IL. He is currently a co-host of WVKC's sports talk show The Rundown with Ryan Cash. Ryan Cash shares the duties of TKS sports editor with Merrell.
LaVar is also a member of the Knox College men's basketball team and is known among teammates for his hard work attitude and commitment to weightlifting. His 6 foot, 175lbs frame is stronger than it looks.
