Campus Safety is run by John Schlaf, the former chief of the Galesburg Police Department.
Schlaf works with many safety officers, including the one-man defense force, Nate Kemp. Nate has been a supporter of the Knox College improv comedy group Puppelmouth, especially in their show Campus Safety and Friends. He can sometimes be seen in the Broadview on weekend nights.
