While I am unfamiliar with the details of the reported May 16 event, the Good Samaritan policy only applies to students who are trying to help other students (Thus, "Good Samaritan"). If the police were called on a drunk student outside those circumstances, I don't think the policy is violated.
While I'm not sure any of these occurrences actually constitute misconduct, it is very important for the campus at large to know about things like this. I just don't want to see this turn into a place where everyone can slap up every little qualm they have about security.
