Alice Holbrook is from Ann Arbor, Michigan. She was an only child. She played the cello in high school, but now focuses mainly on her writing. Her fiction writing has garnered many awards. One of her more recent pieces, "The Absence of Disaster" won her the the Davenport this year. She will be co-editor of Catch next year along with Brian Lowe. She plans to live off campus with her dear friends Emma Martin, Olivia Cacchione, and Laura Zuber.
