The Galesburg Community Chorus is an amateur singing group committed to sharing the gift of great choral music with the Galesburg area. It is directed by Tim Pahel, former chair of the music department at Carl Sandburg College and now Director of Choral and Vocal Activities at Monmouth College (but don't hold that against him). Amber Clark is the accompanist.

No auditions are required, and membership is open to anyone, including students from Knox and Carl Sandburg, as well as high school students and residents of Galesburg and the surrounding area. Membership is free for students of any sort, but non-student members must pay dues.

GCC reheases once a week on Monday evenings, and is a great option for students who want to sing, but are not, for one reason or another, members of the Knox College Choir.
