The Economics Department is located on the first floor of George Davis Hall.


Faculty

Roy Andersen is the Department Chair. He is the Charles W. and Arvilla S. Timme Professor of Economics with a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois, 1972. His interests are Microeconomics, international economics, development.

Steve Cohn is a professor with a Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, 1986. His interests are Heterodox economics, macroeconomics, environmental economics.

Jonathan Powers is an Assistant Professor with a Ph.D. from Northwestern University, 2002. His interests are Microeconomics, industrial organization, game theory, economics of information.

Maliha Safri is a Visiting Assistant Professor with a Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, 2005. Her interest is Heterodox economics.

Carol Scotton is an Assistant Professor with a Ph.D. from Georgia State University, 2000. Her interests are Microeconomics, business, public economics.

Richard A. Stout is a Professor with a Ph.D. from Indiana University, 1984. His interests are Microeconomics, macroeconomics, statistics.
