Nora Nelson

Nora Nelson '09 is a biology and environmental studies double major - a nerd. She spent 4 months in Zanzibar during fall 2007 and will be spending two weeks in Belize at the end of spring term. She is tentatively traveling to Jordan or another location in that part of the world to work on her Ford Fellowship for the rest of the summer immediately after Belize.

She is currently locked in a heated Office quotes battle with one Steven Petrovich. She will ultimately be victorious and will celebrate by taking her entourage to Asian Hooters (Benihana). Unlike Steve, she doesn't have to put permanent marker on her date's arm to tell them apart from someone else.

She lives in the old SNu house. She likes scuba, wearing dresses, traveling, and fantasizing about traveling. One day she will do something nice dealing with international environmental policy and diplomacy. She will occasionally get to wear heels as part of this endeavor.

She had malaria once. Unluckily for her, she got infected with Plasmodium falciparum, and it is probably snuggling up in her liver right now waiting to strike again.
