Union Board

The Union board is an organization fighting in opposition of the separatist Confederate board. Student Senate wants to take it over.

• Winter 2000: The Promise Ring/Camden/Bigalow
• Spring 2000: Union Board holds "VergeFest" in the Seymour basement. Included on the bill were Green Scene, Elizabeth Elmore, The Essex Green, The Stereo, and Poster Children. The Apples in Stereo were scheduled to headline, but had to cancel due to drummer Hilarie Sidney's pregnancy.

• Winter 2002: Union Board and WVKC sponsors Hard Knox Hip-Hop, featuring El-P, Aesop Rock, RJD2, and others. The show is subject to some controversy when promoters are forced to charge non-students a cover, due to the head planner's failure to secure enough funding to make the show free as advertised.
