Cicadas

Everybody else is talking about these dang ol' cicadas. Where are they? How come we have no cicadas? I haven't seen those guys since small times. In an unfortunate turn of events, this years batch of 17-year cicadas, the ominously named Brood XIII, will not reach Galesburg. However, they will be stretching across most the rest of northern Illinois.
