Nora Nelson

Nora Nelson is a biology and environmental studies double major. Beginning September 1st 2007, she will be spending four months in Tanzania and its archipelago Zanzibar. She will be participating in an intensive coastal ecology program, during which she will become fluent in Swahili and complete a minimum of 120 hours in the field and a 50 page paper for her independent research project. She is looking forward to diving with whale sharks but is not so hot on the idea of wearing one piece bathing suits.

Nora is active in Habitat for Humanity (fundraising chair 06-07) and is an orientation leader. She also tutors high school students in math and science.

She will be living in the old Snu house next year with Clint, Jake, Clifton, and the Elmwood boys.
