Jesse was raised in The Outback, not the one in Australia, the other one..... You know... He one day spontaneously appeared and was saved for heat exposure by bears. This is where he learned his fantastic bike riding skills from, for they were no ordinary bears but rather Russian circus bears, the original masters of the bicycle.
At the rip ol' age of 7, Jesse had a full beard. Not just any regular beard, this beard was special, it was gifted with the ability to woo any lady at a 20 meter radius. Thats right metric system baby
