Madeline Sonja Weiland is the "matriarch" of the class of 2009.

She is a member of Delta Delta Delta.

She is spending the fall of 2007 in Chicago, participating in the Urban Studies Program. So is Amanda Look. She is continuing an internship she started in June of 2007 with UIC, working in a child psychiatry clinic.

Clarifications

Contrary to popular belief, when she spells Maddi, it is just like that: one 'i,' no 'e,' and definitely not with a 'y.'

In addition, her last name is pronounced why-land, not way-land, wee-land, or any other gross mispronunciation people on this campus somehow fabricate.
