Mujtaba Hassan was the student senate president during the year 2022. During his term in senate, he experienced a controversy when a classmate accused him of stealing money from his start-up term project. It has been alleged that he sent out death threats in response to the accusations. On the day of his honor board hearing, he sent out an email titled A Note on Empathy & Happiness to the entire student distribution list.
