Mennonite
Mennonites are not Amish. All Mennonites are not the same. All Amish are not the same. The Amish split from the Mennonites back in Europe because the two groups had differing views on shunning someone from the church.
Amish sects vary from church to church, as there is no central governing body as there is in the Catholic Church. Some of the sects include Schwartzentruber, New Order Amish, Old Order Amish, and the Beachy sect. Some sects will go without any modern conveniences, while others choose to incorporate some modern technology in their daily lives (hence the Amish riding the trains). Refusal of such luxuries as TV's usually isn't so much of a religious issues than it is a family issue. TV limits interactions and time spent with loved ones.
Amtrak trains seem to be filled with them, but in reality the folks on the train are Amish, not Mennonites, as Mennonites (and usually Conservative Mennonites too) drive cars.
Mennonites are peaceful folk; as are the Quakers.
