Nora Nelson

Nora Nelson '09 is a biology and environmental studies double major - a nerd. Beginning September 1, 2007, she will be spending four months in an intensive coastal ecology program in Tanzania and its archipelago Zanzibar. She is looking forward to diving with whale sharks and reaching fluency in Swahili but is not so hot on the idea of wearing one piece bathing suits.

Nora is active in Habitat for Humanity (fundraising chair 06-07) and is an orientation leader. She tries to attend KARES meetings when she can. She also tutors high school students in math and science. Geno DeRango and Sean Kraus resent her for always scoring just a few points higher than them in any biology class taught by Stuart Allison.

She will be living in the old SNu house next year with Clint, Jake, Clifton, and the Elmwood boys.
