Take Back the Night

Hosted annually by Students Against Sexism in Society (SASS), Take Back the Night is an event that seeks to raise awareness of the problem of sexual and relationship violence.

Past events

• In 2007, Shailja Patel came to speak, and the event was moved to the Aux Gym due to rain.
• In 2006, Folk singer/poet Alix Olson came to speak.
• In 2005, the event was co-sponsored by Tau Kappa Epsilon and was informally referred to as TKE Back the Night. Also, Bitch (formerly of Bitch and Animal) preformed.
