Nora Nelson

Nora Nelson '09 is a biology and environmental studies double major - a nerd. After Knox she would like to attend graduate school and get a joint degree in public policy and international relations. She would also like to get her JD, a PhD in international environmental policy, join the Peace Corps, get a PhD in ecology, and sell all (ok, most) of her worldly possessions to buy a yacht and travel the world. The prospect of making a decision regarding any of the aforementioned goals is rather daunting and for now Nora is thinking about koalas and David Beckham's recent pilgrimage to the US.

Beginning August 31, 2007, she will be spending four months in an intensive coastal ecology program in Tanzania and its archipelago Zanzibar. She is looking forward to diving with whale sharks and reaching fluency in Swahili but is not so hot on the idea of wearing one piece bathing suits.

She will be living in the old SNu house next year with Clint, Jake, Clifton, and the Elmwood boys.
