Brooks Johnson, railing against the pro-fetus-murdering policies of what he calls "the Aborted States of America".

Coming into their senior year, Nightlife members Brooks Johnson, Peter Burghardt, Timmy Rairdon, and Steuart Lansing Pittman III realized that their shamefully secular efforts at rock/roll and partying were doing little to further the goal that they all held so passionately in common: the right of an unborn fetus to live, no matter what the bitch wants to do with it. Taking their small fame within the Knox scene, they decided to push it to the limit and shake America to its core, waking up squares everywhere to the plight of fetuses victimized by abortion, as they are too aborted to do anything about it themselves.

Methodology

Using money funneled through the front group Nightlife, Right To Life sets up elaborate concerts, slathering the stage with pig fetuses and assorted animal viscera while screaming at their audiences about the inequities in fetal rights. While the response to their highly charged lyrical content and blistering (and arguable disgusting) performances has been decidedly mixed, the band remains optimistic about their overall impact and future potential. "We're trying to make a difference in this world of fetal slaughter," claims lead vocalist Brooks Johnson and father of four. "Every day women violate themselves and the rights of their unborn children because the law allows them to. We want to show them that they aren't smart or moral enough to make this decision on their own.

Events of Import

  • The Fetus Is Among Us Tour 2006: Dates at Grinnell (show ended poorly, with the band screaming "slaves, slaves of satan" at a crowd of four people), Monmouth, Lawrence (small riot, ten injured), 05 NE Jefferson Ave, Peoria, IL (outside a Planned Parenthood, with the result of every band member being arrested and dragged away. Reportedly, every member was shouting "don't let the fetus feed us!" as they were arrested), Yale (as part of the Yale "Put 'Em Back in Chains-fest"), and Life, Lives, and Living festival in Kickapoo, IL.
  • Burned down Planned Parenthoods in Peoria, Chicago, Minneapolis, and Milwaukee.
  • Releasing a greased pig with the word "Morality" painted onto its side into an audience at a Knox show while shouting "Try and catch morality cause it's all slipping away."
  • 2007, participated in the "Kill criminals, not unborn infants" benefit concert. As part of their performance, a notorious rapist and multiple murderer was beheaded and stump fucked by the entire band on stage. There was then a fifty minute encore.
