Dean Bailey (the Associate Dean of the College and sometimes the "Crying Dean") is the Dean in whose office you are most likely to end up having the predictable stress-related breakdown of your college career. He will usually make it better.
He oversees many things at the college, including grant-giving, the Honor Board, and the Knox-Rush pre-med, Ford Fellowship, and McNair programs.
He is a wonderful person, and a fantastic listener.
Dean Bailey is also a professor of History. He rarely teaches classes, but you can take an independent study with him.
