Erik DeLapp graduated from Knox in 2007 with a major in Creative Writing. During his time at Knox, he was published in Catch, The Third Level, and Cellar Door. He was also a member of Knox's Cross Country and Indoor & Outdoor Track Teams. DeLapp was named Prairie Fire Performer of the Week twice, Midwest Conference Indoor Track Performer of the Week once, and he set school records in the indoor 800 meter run as well as the Sprint Medley Relay as the anchor leg (800m). He was a member of the runner-up, All-Conference 4x400 team at the MWC Outdoor Track Championships in 2006. DeLapp presently resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
