Hungry Howie's was the greatest pizzeria Galesburg had ever seen. Their selection of flavored pizza crusts and bankruptcy-fearing deals were enhanced by their friendly delivery guys, including The Guy Who Would Get High With You All The Time, or The Really Obese Guy.

The shop closed, reopened, and closed for good circa 2003. The awning can still be seen, although the property has been vacated for years. Some say when the moon is full, if you enter the shop and ask nicely, the pizza ghosts will serve you a delicious garlic-butter crust pepperoni pizza, and thus reveal the secrets of the universe to you.
