What it needs now is art. Maps are the most important thing. However, we may have to resort to hand-drawn maps unless we can find a street map of Galesburg that belongs to the public domain (I'll try my best). Hand-drawn maps are funny, anyway and work just fine. Any other art you can think of would also help this page out immensely. Maybe even something like fancy section heads or something. So, yeah. Good job on this Brian (and everyone else that helped out). Now let's try to get some art going. [[User:Tfooq|Tfooq]] 13:00, 11 August 2007 (CDT) | What it needs now is art. + | So, what do you all think about dividing this guide into several pages? It might be a little long for the Internet, especially once we get art (which we need). What would be the best way to do it? Should we just make each section a new page, and use the main survival guide page as kind of a portal page? Any other ideas? A page like this is a pretty tall order, so I think that if we're going to do this right we should come to some sort of consensus on how to tackle it. What do we want this page to be, and how should we organize it? Is it a set of links to important pages and outside websites? Is it substantial new content about The Knox Experience? Should it sort of be a student rendition of the New Faculty Survival Guide? Do we want to be comprehensive, or do we just want to cover the holes that Orientation leaves? Well, I went ahead and took a crack at it. I tried to be fairly thorough, but if you see something I missed, let me know. This is only part of it; I'm still writing the rest, whcih will include information on the staff/administration, Galesburg, eating, picking classes, student government, publications and radio, Campus Safety, Clubs, campus employment, the Honor Board/Conduct Council/Grievance Panel, transportation, and maybe some other things I haven't thought of yet. Jesus tittyfuckin' Christ, man, nicely done. Jlane 23:06, 1 August 2007 (CDT)
Brian, did you write all of that yourself? jeez. well done.--Afitz 21:55, 4 August 2007 (CDT)

Yeah, everyone (especially Brian, the official king of The Wiki Fire), this page rocks hard. It covers so many vital parts of the Knox experience and summarizes them in a way that captures both the important information and the attitude of the campus.
Tfooq 13:00, 11 August 2007 (CDT)
