A God Damn Independent, or GDI, is a student who refuses to join a Greek organization. Not all non-Greek students are GDIs, as there is a certain level of hostility involved in calling one's self a GDI.
Future Plans
Members of the GDI are planning on making themselves a formal colony in 2008, as the Gamma Delta Iota fraternity.
