The Knox College Choir (KCC) is the premier choir of Knox College, directed by Laura Lane. It is approximately 60 members strong. Within the choir exists the Chamber Singers, a select 20-member group. During fall and winter terms, the choir normally prepares a varied repertoire of new and old short works from around the world. For spring term, a single longer piece is usually performed.
Tours
The choir tours annually over spring break. Previous tours have included London, the Czech Republic, and Spain, as well as various domestic tours. In 2006, the choir toured Spain; in 2007, Chicago. They returned to Spain in 2008, returned to Chicago in 2009 (as well as touring in Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin), and will return to Spain again in 2010.
