Professor Charles E. Schulz is the current physics department chair. He is a Knox graduate of 1972 and has been teaching here since 1981. One of his student advisees for the 2006-2007 school year was Charlie Brown. Seriously.

Research
Schulz's favorite experiment is Mossbauer spectroscopy, which allows him to analyze the structure of various substances. He routinely collaborates with professors from other institutions who need to make these specialized measurements.
